He was the Chief delegate of China to Bureau of International Expo (2006-2018), Executive Deputy Secretary General of Liaison Group and the member of the Chinese National Organizing Committee of Beijing International Horticultural Expo, China 2019 and its Commissioner General. He was also the Executive Deputy Secretary General of Liaison Group and the member of the Chinese National Organizing Committee of Shanghai World expo, China 2010, and Commissioner General of the China Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo, China, Commissioner of the China Pavilion of Yeosu World Expo, ROK 2012, Commissioner General of the China Pavilion of Milan World Expo, Italy 2015 and Commissioner of the China Pavilion of Astana World Expo, Kazakhstan 2017. David DuBois is the President and CEO of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE). As IAEE’s president, DuBois is responsible for the management of 23 full-time professional staff, producing the annual business operating plan and budget, overseeing the support of all meetings of governance units, leading business development, directing fund raising efforts, advocating for the industry and the organization’s members, providing organizational leadership and strategic counsel to the board. Also, he serves as the association’s representative with industry coalitions, partner organizations and strategic alliances. In 2019, DuBois was inducted into the Exhibition Industry Council’s “Hall of Leaders,” one of the industry’s most prestigious honors. DuBois began his career with Sheraton Corporation in various sales positions including Regional Director of Sales and the Director of Marketing Programs. He has served as both President and CEO, and Senior Vice President at the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) where he was responsible for all operations and a $7 million budget. As Senior Vice President, he managed the development of 15 new chapters and was responsible for magazine advertising sales and membership recruitment and retention. DuBois has also served as both the Chief Operating Officer at Meeting Professionals International (MPI) from 1996-2000. During this time, he supported programs and services for more than 16,000 members worldwide, and served as the Executive Vice President of the MPI Foundation. David has also served as MPI’s Vice President of Sales and Key Account Management and Vice President of Corporate Services. Most recently, DuBois has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Bureau where he had oversight and full responsibility of 42 staff, with the responsibility of attracting convention and tourism business with a $8.5 million budget. John Liu has over twenty years of management, business development, and transaction experience in China and international markets. Prior to joining Tarsus, John served as Vice President and Asia General Manager, based in Shanghai, for private equity-owned U.S. company Component Hardware Group. Before that position, he was the Founder and Managing Partner for Highlink Partners, a Shanghai and New York-based consultancy specializing in helping Western corporations expand in China. Earlier in his career, he was a private equity investor and investment banker with Lehman Brothers. Her main research areas are MICE and tourism management, cultural industry management, strategic management and marketing. 厦门华厦学院会展与经济贸易系主任，会展专业负责人，副教授，厦门市会展评估专家委员会成员，厦门大学旅游管理硕士毕业，主要研究方向为会展产业经济及会展专业教育教学改革。近年来，参与多项教育部“十三五”规划重点课题研究，主持省级课题3项，主持及参与市厅级项目7项，公开发表学术论文10余篇。多次指导学生参加全国、省、市学科专业竞赛，获国赛二等奖、省赛一等奖、省赛二等奖等，多次荣获各级各类竞赛“优秀指导教师奖”，曾入选福建省教育厅专业带头人培养计划，曾获厦门市教育系统“创优奖”。 Brief introduction of Wu Qinglan Wu Qinglan，Associate Professor，is Director of Department of exhibition and economy & trade, Xiamen Huaxia University, director of exhibition discipline, and a member of Xiamen exhibition evaluation expert committee. She graduated from Xiamen University with a master's degree in tourism management. Her main research direction is exhibition industry economy and Exhibition professional education and teaching reform. In recent years, she has participated in a number of key research projects of the 13th five year plan of the Ministry of education，presided 3 provincial projects，presided and participated in 7 municipal level projects，published more than 10 academic papers.She has guided students to participate in national, provincial and municipal professional competitions for many times, won the second prize of national competition, the first prize of provincial competition and the second prize of provincial competition, and won the "excellent instructor Award" of various competitions at all levels. And she has also been selected into the professional leader training program of Fujian Provincial Department of education and won the "Excellence Award" of Xiamen education system.
